How do I order?
You begin by requesting
a mailer. Once you receive
the mailer, fill out the order form, place 1 disc
inside and return back to ScratchMasters.
We will fix all repairable discs and return them
back to
you…It’s that simple! |
Will my repaired discs play like new?
Yes! For all discs that are repairable, ScratchMasters
will repair the read side back to playing like new
again. The surface finish and optical clarity is
warranted, however, ScratchMasters cannot repair
poorly recorded discs, or discs that have foil damage. |
How long before I get my disc(s) back?
Most orders are shipped back 48 hours after receipt.
Larger orders may require a little more time. We
also offer Rush Delivery if the need arises. If that
is the case, please call or email us about this option. |

For every non- repairable disc, a ScratchMasters
voucher will be issued. This voucher is good for
one disc to be repaired at no cost to you. |
Who pays for shipping?
We Do! ScratchMasters has made it totally convenient
for you. Just request a mailer and follow the instructions.
Place the pre-paid mailer in a mailbox and happily

How do I pay?
ScratchMasters happily accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover,
American Express, checks and money orders. Orders
paid for by check of credit card will be held until
payment is cleared or verified. |
What happens if I send in a ‘damaged’ disc
for repair?
If we receive a disc with top side damage that cannot
be repaired, ScratchMasters will return the disc “as
is” and issue a ScratchMasters voucher that entitles
you to a free disc repair. ScratchMasters is not responsible
for damages done to discs during transport to or from
our site. |
What happens if you lose a disc?
ScratchMasters is not responsible for lost
or damaged discs during transport from or to our customers.
However, if a disc is lost once ScratchMasters opens
your mailer until we mail off your discs, our maximum
liability is $10.00 per disc or the value of the
disc, whichever is less. |
What are ScratchMasters limitations
of liabilities?
ScratchMasters is under no circumstances liable for
the following: (1) third party claims against you for
damages; (2) loss of, or damage to, your records or
data; or (3) economic damages or incidental damages. |
What type of discs can ScratchMasters
repair?
We can repair various types of discs from CDs, DVDs,
data discs, Blu-ray, PSP, Playstation,
Playstation 2, Playstaion 3, Xbox, Xbox 360 and Nintendo
Game Cubes. |
How can I tell if my disc can be repaired?
Easy! Simply administer the (1) light test to your
disc(s)- Hold your disc(s), label side, toward a
40 watt bulb. If light comes through the shiny side,
the disc has top side (label) damage and may be unable
to be repaired; (2) reflection test- Hold disc bottom
(play ) side up. Tilt your disc and check each scratch
for a reflection. Scratches on bottom will have a
reflection and top side scratches will appear as
a straight line. |
Can I fix the disc myself?
There are other methods available for repairing discs,
but ScratchMasters recommends using
our professional service. It is less expensive, more
convenient and
safer. |
